IDS Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter hosts event with Feeding Children Everywhere to benefit local Dallas ISD school children

On Thursday August 20, 2015, the Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter of the Interior Design Society will host an event with Feeding Children Everywhere at the lovely showroom of New Life Hardwoods in the Dallas Design District.  Designers and affiliated design partners will come together to assemble over 8,300 meals that will be distributed through the North Texas Food Bank directly to a food pantry that gives food specifically to kids from Dallas ISD schools that are in the 98% poverty level and participate in the free school lunch programs.  Many of the children attending these schools get their one meal a day at school, so in order to help these struggling families, Dallas design professionals are coming together and hosting this event #FullBelliesOpenMinds.
